Bélanger not first MP to call for gender neutral O Canada

A fitting follow-up to last week’s honour would be unanimous support for his bill to modernize O Canada for all Canadians.

Liberal MP Mauril Bélanger, who has ALS, was the honorary Speaker on March 9. The emotional and heartfelt support from all sides of the House was honest and palpable.
