Former Supreme Court justice Ian Binnie told The Hill Times that he expects to table his final expense arbitration report in the Senate’s Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration Committee next month. Quebec Conservative Sen. Leo Housakos who is the chair of the Internal Economy Committee said that the committee will unveil a new independent oversight plan to monitor the Senators’ expenses in the next few weeks.
