Rachel has been reporting on Parliament Hill for over a year, specializing in all things legislation. Expect to find her tweeting along with committee meetings, and when the House is in session she’s got the status of bills practically memorized. She’s also the Hill Times’ Party Central columnist, and knows what makes a good party, and is fine telling you when yours isn’t. She also heads up the paper’s Policy Briefings, so she knows a little bit about a lot of topics, from health to defence, but her favourite being indigenous issues. Before joining The Hill Times team, she was a producer for CBC’s Power and Politics, and News Now with Ian Hanomansing. She graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Ottawa’s joint program with Algonquin College.
