The election results revealed the questionable relevance of the reviled Fair Elections Act: voter turnout rose dramatically and the war chest of the free-spending Conservatives did little for party fortunes.
Who knows if Canada’s Conservatives are capable of adapting their values to the post-Harper political context. It is an open question. But Joe Clark says he may even rejoin the party that he says left him.
