Bill C-623 is designed to fan the flames of the reasonable accommodation debate while targeting a specific group for the sole purpose of making political hay. The law is targeted primarily at Muslim women who wear face coverings as part of their religion.
As part of the Charter Generation, I find it offensive because I know that it is an unnecessary distraction fanned by unfounded fears and I find it offensive because I know it is just an attempt to make 'intolerance' acceptable
As the prospect of an election looms, the number of priorities that the Conservative government has continues to grow.
