Canada needs to gain access to new energy markets in order to get a competitive price for our products and to diversify away from reliance solely on the U.S. market.
In spite of the exaggerated expectations, including those for a binding emissions control and global warming reduction agreement to succeed the Kyoto Accord and Protocol, the Copenhagen Conference was a genuine success.
