Duffy’s lawyer insists on public discussion of trial schedule
Suspended Senator Mike Duffy's trial is scheduled to end on June 16, but it won't happen. Crown Attorney Mark Holmes said court-planning decisions are routinely made public in the Ottawa court system and suggested he believes defence lawyer Donald Bayne was creating a confrontation for motives related to news media covering the trial.
