Clean-tech emerging as Canada’s fastest-growing industry, outlier in economy

The federal government has invested millions in advertising and PR to promote Canada’s oil and gas sector, but support for the clean-tech sector remains tepid. Analytica Advisors reports that the clean-tech sector grew by nine per cent in 2012, while the mining, oil and gas sector grew by only 0.3 per cent in the same year, according to Industry Canada.
