The red carpet was rolled out in Ottawa a few days ahead of the Oscars for the stars of Gabrielle, a touching film from Quebec director Louise Archambault that was screened at the National Arts Centre. The Feb. 27 event was the latest in the series of film screenings hosted by Heritage Minister Shelly Glover, and MPs and other Ottawa luminaries joined the actors and industry players in the audience. More than 600 people attended the event.
